Any commentary that isn’t Martin Tyler or Sam Matterface is good for me.

Apart from all they talked about for 2 mins was swapping fucking sandwiches and what types they were and when they were going to be eating them on the way home.

It's better than I thought it would be, good commentary, good streams, shame about Clinton Fucking Morrison, but he ticks a very fashionable box right now, because Sky have scooped up al the black one armed non binary lesbians for their coverage.

Really like McCoist, and compared to the usual gash on Sky/BT thought it was a breath of fresh air.

The thing I hate is that it's streamed so runs at least a minute behind reality. I don't like my phone telling me that somebody has scored before I see it happen. Can put up with it on an illegal stream that I'm getting for free but if your paying for a service then it should be broadcast live

Have you ever thought of turning off the score updates or your phone completely, son?

Not to mention I'd like to have it off with Logan.

Clinton Morrison and Matthew Upson are both excellent pundits and I like their work on 5 live. Breath of fresh air in comparison to the old guard.

Thought Saturdays coverage was excellent, McCoist is easy to listen to, he talks a lot of sense.

Enjoyed it, and while commentators and pundits are always going to divide opinion, I thought McCoist and Champion came over very well.

Carragher and Alan Smith on Sky just grate and irritate me, so it did make a decent change...

Enjoy it and BT. Anything is better than Sky Sports.

Re: Amazon Prime football coverage
Yeah, I swerve the pre match stuff, the half time stuff, and turn it off immediately the game is over.

I usually watch the excellent behind the scènes stuff the official site puts out, no commentary, no endless sequence of replays from different angles, just the honest footage. I might watch what Moyes or a player says after, but it’s not vital for me.

Re: Amazon Prime football coverage
It was fine on Saturday. I have had problems with streaming the rugby on Amazon.

As everybody else has mentioned Ally McCoist and John Champion made the game eminently more watchable and Clinton Morrison wasn’t bad either. I normally mute the commentary and completely swerve the pre, half-time and post match guff for Sky and BT Sports but on Saturday for some reason I forgot, I’m glad that I did.

Ally McCoist reminded of me Jimmy Greaves, obviously with a Jock accent.

Understandably you can't please everyone. terry-h and KZ

Re: Amazon Prime football coverage
Burnley FC have lodged a complaint about Amazon pundit comments made about new US owners and how genuine they are, that's all I know. Funnily enough, I would actually welcome more media calling GSB a bunch of cunts.

Re: Amazon Prime football coverage
McCoist has been described as an endearing scamp in some quarters but I find his Glasgow accent rather tiresome. I remember Neil Lennon losing his temper with him when he managed Rangers, and Ally stood there unable to understand why Lennon didn't like him much.

Kaiser Zoso 11:33 Mon Jan 18
Re: Amazon Prime football coverage
Champion and McCoist made me cringe. I have to turn the commentary down so it’s barely audible. It’s non stop verbal diarrhoea

That shit about Burnley’s kit? FMOB

Re: Amazon Prime football coverage
Really enjoyed the coverage on sat. Champion and McCoist were superb as always. I think Gaby Logan is great, Upson and Morrison average but didnt really watch much pre match or post match.

Agree only issue with Amazon is between me and my west ham group chat we all had it running at different times

If you're watching every game via a stream, why would you need your phone to give you goal updates?

Re: Amazon Prime football coverage
champion and mccoist are a great doubleact, somewhere between match commentary and a podcast. might not be the best register for a world cup final, but for a dreary 1-0 against burnley in an empty stadium, they're uniquely adapted.

quite like drury and beglin too.
